W arner Bros. has intensified its campaign for the upcoming 3D action adventure “Green Lantern” by releasing the film's international one-sheet and banner. Take your first look at the said materials here and have a green overload! “ Green Lantern ” stars Ryan Reynolds (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”).

H ot off the success of 2010's “Legion,” director Scott Stewart reunites with Paul Bettany for Columbia Pictures' post-apocalyptic action-thriller “Priest,” based on the Korean manhwa (comic book) by Min-Woo Hyung. Also starring Cam Gigandet (“Twilight”), Maggie Q, (“Die Hard 4.0”), Karl Urban (“Lord of the Rings”) and Stephen Moyer (TV’s “True Blood”), “Priest” is set in an alternate world -- one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them.

W hen Priest (Paul Bettany) defies the orders of the Clergy by leaving the city on a perilous quest to save his niece from a murderous pack of vampires, the Council of Monsignors dispatches a team of warrior priests to bring him back, in Columbia Pictures' new supernatural thriller “Priest.” For the role of Priestess, the group’s leader, the filmmakers chose Maggie Q, a Hawaiian-born actress who brought martial arts skills honed in in several Hong Kong action films. No stranger to Hollywood action roles, she’s starred in “Mission: Impossible III,” alongside Tom Cruise, and “Live Free or Die Hard,” with Bruce Willis.

Raizo (portrayed by Korean superstar Rain/Bi) is one of the world's deadliest assassins, having been kidnapped as a child and raised by the Ozunu Clan, believed by the world to be a myth. When Raizo's friend is executed by the clan, Raizo flees into hiding. He later reemerges, seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) is a Europol agent who investigates money linked to political murders and finds that it is linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her, but she is rescued by Raizo. Hiding in Europe, Raizo and Mika must find a way to take down the Ozunu Clan

F resh from her mission in the moon Pandora in James Cameron's “Avatar,” Michelle Rodriguez now plays Air Force Tech Sergeant Elena Santos, who becomes a key ally for Staff Sargeant Nantz (Aaron Eckhart) and his platoon, in Columbia Pictures' new sci-fi action thriller “World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles.” “She sees everything go off on the radars,” Rodriguez says of her character.. Once the platoon finds itself battling extra-terrestrial forces, “she is one of the first on the scene to track them down and find out what they are and how they tick.”

  Continuing its commitment to helping elevate the country’s education system,  SM Foundation, Inc.  (SMFI), in partnership with SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SMPHI) and the Department of Education (DepEd), have recently collaborated to construct two new school buildings in Laguna and Batangas. Upon the completion of the joint initiative, two two-story four-classroom school buildings will be donated to the Laguna Resettlement Community School in San Pedro City, Laguna and the San Antonio Elementary School in Sto. Tomas City, Batangas. Each of the school buildings is set to be equipped with learning materials, armchairs, handwashing facilities, emergency equipment, and PWD-friendly facilities to ensure that students, especially from low-income communities, gain access to modern, safe, and conducive learning facilities.
