H ot off the success of 2010's “Legion,” director Scott Stewart reunites with Paul Bettany for Columbia Pictures' post-apocalyptic action-thriller “Priest,” based on the Korean manhwa (comic book) by Min-Woo Hyung. Also starring Cam Gigandet (“Twilight”), Maggie Q, (“Die Hard 4.0”), Karl Urban (“Lord of the Rings”) and Stephen Moyer (TV’s “True Blood”), “Priest” is set in an alternate world -- one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them.

W arner Bros. has intensified its campaign for the upcoming 3D action adventure “Green Lantern” by releasing the film's international one-sheet and banner. Take your first look at the said materials here and have a green overload! “ Green Lantern ” stars Ryan Reynolds (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”) in the title role, under the direction of Martin Campbell (“Casino Royale”).

No stranger to Hollywood action roles, she’s starred in “Mission: Impossible III,” alongside Tom Cruise, and “Live Free or Die Hard,” with Bruce Willis.

Raizo (portrayed by Korean superstar Rain/Bi) is one of the world's deadliest assassins, having been kidnapped as a child and raised by the Ozunu Clan, believed by the world to be a myth. When Raizo's friend is executed by the clan, Raizo flees into hiding. He later reemerges, seeking revenge. Meanwhile, Mika Coretti (Naomie Harris) is a Europol agent who investigates money linked to political murders and finds that it is linked to the Ozunu Clan. She defies her superior, Ryan Maslow (Ben Miles), and retrieves secret agency files to find out more. The clan, finding out about the investigation, attempts to assassinate her, but she is rescued by Raizo. Hiding in Europe, Raizo and Mika must find a way to take down the Ozunu Clan

And now we have garden gnomes, in Touchstone Pictures' animated comedy “Gnomeo & Juliet.”

F resh from her mission in the moon Pandora in James Cameron's “Avatar,” Michelle Rodriguez now plays Air Force Tech Sergeant Elena Santos, who becomes a key ally for Staff Sargeant Nantz (Aaron Eckhart) and his platoon, in Columbia Pictures' new sci-fi action thriller “World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles.” “She sees everything go off on the radars,” Rodriguez says of her character.. Once the platoon finds itself battling extra-terrestrial forces, “she is one of the first on the scene to track them down and find out what they are and how they tick.”

 Flores de Mayo or Santacruzan is a Catholic festival held here in the Philippines in the month of May. It lasts for a month, and is held in honor of the Virgin Mary. The Santa Cruzan is a parade held on the last day of Flores de Mayo in honor of Reyna Elena.

When I heard about The Karate Kid, I said to myself, "What?! another remake!" We must admit it, almost all movie remakes sucks, only a few really managed to pull it off. The Karate Kid is definitely a classic movie, especially for us cousins. We grew up mimicking his moves known as the crane kick/bicycle kick. To do that, you must put both arms to your sides, raise your arms, and collapses your wrists over your head. Then, simultaneously raise your left knee up to about stomach level. Then wait for your opponent to come forward, then you leaps off your right foot, simultaneously dropping your left foot to the ground, and kicks your opponent with your right foot. LOL! I tried to look for details of that film online, and I'm surprised that the first film is released back in 1984 (I'm not yet born on that year) My cousin is really a huge fan of this movie saga, he has all the copy from I to III.
