StreetDance 3D

StreetDance 3D is a movie about a street dance crew on the verge of breaking up after its leader, Jay, leaves the group unexpectedly. The group loses the use of their rehearsal space, forcing them to try and raise money or practice in other locations. Eventually they secure a space in a ballet school, on the condition that they include 5 ballet dancers from the Royal Dance Crew in their routine. At first, they struggle to get along, but they all become friends in the end.

One of the teachers at the ballet school, Helena, takes Carly to a ballet where she starts getting ideas for their routine. When she arrives home, Carly finds Jay waiting for her and the two spend the night together. During a dance battle in a club the next night, the team learn that Jay has betrayed the team by joining The Surge, a rival crew.

Starring the Diversity & Flawless dancers with Charlotte Rampling , Eleanor Bron, George Sampson, Jeremy Sheffield, Jocelyn Jee Esien, Nichola Burley, Patrick Baladi, Richard Winsor, Sacha Chang. Directed by Dania Pasquini & Max Giwa. StreetDance 3D is presented by Vertigo Films and released in the Philippines by Viva Films.

Though this movie, may not appeal to older viewers, the 3D execution on this one is a must watch. The film was shot with Paradise FX's Tri Delta camera systems, so it was not like those movie that is just converted to 3D because it's the IN thing nowadays. Did I mention that the two dance group who played rivals here are from Britain's Got Talent, and one of them beat Susan Boyle in the finals? Yup they did. So prepare yourself for some jaw-dropping and impressive dance moves!

This flick used Hip Hop, R&B, Electro music, that is so upbeat which I really liked. Watch out for those ballerinas who danced hiphop ;)

StreetDance 3D  runs for 1:36 minutes and is rated GP by the MTRCB, Now open across the Philippines. Released by Viva Films.
